NEXT MEETING WEDNESDAY MAY 6, 2015
Hearing Loss Challenges and Solutions
HLA-SCC Members Collaborate Together!
Our meeting next Wednesday May 6, offers a chance to hear about the real-life experiences of fellow members with the newest (and not-so-new) equipment and techniques for dealing with hearing loss.
Rather than an address by an outside expert, we'll have an audience-participation discussion moderated by president Clement Hill. Topics will include various types of hearing aids, telecoils, neck loops and captioned telephones. Other issues may include types of professional practitioners, coping strategies, veteran’s benefits, and tips for partners of those with hearing loss.
Questions will be encouraged. If you have an issue you want to discuss, chances are pretty good that it's something one of our members has experienced and they will be happy to let you know how it's worked out for them.
We hope to see you there--9:30 a.m.. Wednesday May 6, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. 1239 West Del Webb Blvd., Sun City Center. Come early for coffee and donuts.
